Hi all
I've recently been looking into getting a quality case for my anglo, and have looked at the Fallon cases and those by Greg Jowaisas. Both make what look to be excellent cases, but I was initially put off by the added costs of postage from the States and the complications of import duties, etc. I haven't ruled out either of these, but was just wondering if there is anybody in either the UK or Ireland that makes cases of a similar standard (internally tailored to individual instruments).
Any suggestions gratefully received...

Hi Mike,
The best and most reliable case maker in Ireland is Mick Mullen. The large percentage of cases used by banjo players and other instruments where cases don't neccessarily come as standard are made by him and a concertina case to whatever spec would be no trouble to him. He is a nice guy and a good guitar player and so understands the needs of musicians when getting cases made. Unfortunately I don't have his number to hand but I am sure you will find his number in the yellow/golden pages of Ireland which is available on line.

Hi
I have mentioned Storm iM2075 resin cases before as being good for holding a concertina. You would need to 'block' it yourself but the case is almost 'indestructable' and totally waterproof you can buy cases with 'pick & pluck' foam inserts or without. less than £50
good luck in your search
