I recorded a little trifle arranged from a string quartet, the theme to "Fawlty Towers." I hope you enjoy it. Please, if you are riff-raff, don't watch the video, or listen to it either.

Good sound!
Very nice arrangement and well played. I'd watch that left hand part, still feels too loud sometimes, esp. on long chords ,I'd keep them even shorter. Feels like full arrangement, I think it's quite impossible on EC. Hmm. How much did you say, was your Wakker?
Ah, balsam!
Get away from me, Temptation!

Yes, anything like it would be quite tricky on English I presume. Thanks, for the compliment and the input. Everything I post is really a work in progress, and I still need multiple takes to get one that doesn't make me wince too often.

I just added another little tune, a simple pretty carol called "Alle Jahre Wieder." It would probably translate to English well.

I also posted them to Vimeo, which mucks up the sound less:
Fawlty Towers: http://www.vimeo.com/1403369
Alle Jahre Wieder: http://www.vimeo.com/1403386

Any more new ones will probably be months away...I'm working on several things at once, most of it pretty tricky for me.

Hmm. A nice one. Umm. Errr, jut thinking aloud, not that I ask for anything. Just wonder, it would be nice, if somebody, may be, umm, like, shared the music and stuff.
No, no, I'm not asking or, God forbid, demand. Just dreaming to myself.
I've got some music too, right?
So I've got some music others don't, right?
And probably will never have, because some Russian guy gave me some, and it's his own, so...
No, impossible, absolutely impossible, don't even ask me.
On the other hand... And it'll fit the duet nicely, but who cares?

Hm, possibly a slow doleful tune with nice chordal washes and countermelodies? Or maybe a fast, syncopated dance tune with bouncy bass?

Slow Doleful tune with nice chordal washes and countermelodies.
If you like that kind of stuff(2:30 to the end), of course.
If it's too easy, I have another one, twice longer.

Actually, I find that Караван piece very accessible for the Hayden. Pretty easy to play yet has wonderful depth and interest. Also fits well on my 46-key. At first I was pretty clueless on how it should sound (reading from the score alone) but being able to listen to it enables me to make sense of the written notes. So many of them are guitar "filler" and I wasn't able to separate those from the actual melody by reading the score alone. Thanks for sharing that!

I'd love to share some music and stuff. I think it would be great to have a place/site where we could manage it all with the score and accompanying recording (of course we can always start by swapping here too). I'll dig around and see if I can post a couple this weekend.

Wonderful music! Thanks for sharing... I've done a Google translate on the Russian tune, and it gave back:
Karavan, Ancient Russian romance
Written for 7 string guitar
Music: B. Prozorovskogo
Arrangement: S. Orekhova
Editorial V. Nesterova

I happened to be busy sequencing an Argentine tango with a similar mood:
Divina - Romanza en tango cancion
Music: Joaquim M. Mora

I hope you like it.
