Okay, so the seller doesn't really know what he/she has, and neither do we. And it's a little (?) tatty. But isn't that riveted action? And a parallel reed layout? So why ain't you handy-dandy types giving this thing some action? (For my part, I'm not handy at all; I celebrate whenever I achieve a good knot in my shoes.)

It's Ebay item number 380042878573, and I'm just curious.

It seems someone got carried away with the old solder-the-reed-flat routine, too (the discoloration on one of the reeds worries me), but that's got to be a fairly common gaffe to overcome, or is it?

Like I said, I'm just curious to hear what "you all" think about it, because the seller isn't getting any serious interest, and I'm surprised.

Hi Mutt....................nothing wrong with solder.............it's done all the time on lower pitched reeds. Totally normal......Robin

Don't we? It looks like a 26-key Jones to me, and probably a good few others.

Sure, but they aren't in themselves the be all and end all...

Maybe:

Because it isn't too desirable?

Because there's a high starting price for what it is?

Because there's still nearly a week to run and the "action" is usually in the last few seconds? unsure.gif

I'm not.

And by the way, those "rosewood" ends look an awful lot like mahogany... rolleyes.gif
