For Sale, my metal ended Lachenal tenor-treble.

I offered this instrument on this forum just over two years ago when I thought my concertina playing days were over. Happily, I changed my mind and withdrew it from sale after a 3:00 am moment of insight ('what am I doing; I should be playing this rather than selling it?' was the gist of the epiphany). But now it has to go to make way for another (do concertinas have feelings about these decisions?)

I've owned this since it had a complete renovation by Colin Dipper 17 years ago, which included superb new bellows by Rosalie Dipper. Colin did some fine tuning on it last September. It has a bright tone and wide dynamic range. Serial number is 46471, making its estimated date of making about 1910.

This is a brilliant instrument for playing in bands, bags of volume when needed, but can also be played quietly when appropriate. My main motivation for selling after all this time is that my rather arthritic fingers give me less pain when playing my lighter and smaller wooden ended treble (I never did get round to using tha bottom half octave on the tenor-treble anyway). So I now want to replace this with a metal ended treble so I can still make myself heard in the band, but, hopefully, not have stiff and aching hands the next day.

Since this hasn't sold yet and my joint symptoms have improved, does anyone with a nice wooden ended tenor or tenor/treble fancy an exchange, with appropriate cash adjustment either way?

Hi Christian,
Having recently acquired a superb Edeophone treble, restored by Dave Prebble, I'm afraid I'm not wanting another treble. Could you sell the treble and then look at this one of mine though? I'm sure a treble like yours would be much sought after by, maybe, someone upgrading from their first instrument? PM me if you have any further thoughts.
