I've been asked to sell two Amboyna ended Lachenals. This one is a 56 key new model baritone. Its in superb condition and has been restored about 4 years ago. It has brown bellows, probably original, and gold plated buttons. Baritone range of four octaves starting from G an octave below the low G on a treble. Includes a period wooden case which may or may not be the original.

Can you tell me who restored this instrument? Also, there appears to be no evidence of writst straps being fitted; am I right?

The current owner had it from Chris Algar. I can only assume that it was restored by him, or one of the people who works with him. Yes there are no wrist strap fittings as far as I know.

I now have serial numbers for this instrument. The bellows are marked 35256 and the reedpans 31888.

Correction!
Its not a baritone at all its an extended treble.
That's what you get for trying to identify an instrument over the phone!
