I note that when you view someone's profile, there is a drop down menu under "Profile Options"; one of the options is "Member's Display Name History", but I don't think there is an option to change my member's name?

I've just looked through all the links on the "edit" page and I agree. There doesn't appear to be an option to edit your name. You can, of course, reregister with a new name, but there seems to be no way to let the system know that it's still you (or that the old name is no longer operating).

I expect the ability to change your name is something we can toggle on and off, and I expect it is off right now (I just spent 20 minutes looking but couldn't find it). Guess you'll just have to ignore that pull-down menu...curiosities, as opposed to real issues, don't rate further admin time.

And what sort of comments are we expected to leave people in the profiles? "Always good for a square meal but watch out for his dog"?
