I'll be up in Massachusetts next week, and I'm still dithering on whether or not to bring my concertina on this particular trip.

So, in the hopes of getting a tie-breaker (and I'm currently planning on going out to the Button Box around 2pm on Tuesday), is anyone in the Massachusetts area interested in taking a look/play at my anglo layout?

Regards,

Man, that's like saying, "I've just found a $100 bill. Will the person who lost it please form a single line to the left." biggrin.gif

I suspect you should put Doug and Rich at the head of the queue, though. smile.gif

Yikes! I'd love to be there but I'm supposed to take my daughter to a rehearsal that afternoon. If I can bribe my Son and Heir to do the driving, I'll be in Amherst in a heartbeat!

If we are talking Tuesday the 10th of August, Doug will be away, teaching at Pinewoods English and American Dance week (where I will also be, as a student). I have never seen Rich in the shop, though I expect he does come by. They just moved repair to the new building so they are pretty busy. But Becky and/or Alice should be there, and they have lots of inventory you can squeeze through.

I usually stop into our store/shop only once or twice a week so it's pretty rare anyone would run across me there. I do most of by Button Box work from my home office.

Things are taking longer than expected in renovating our new place which means that our shop side will probably be just finishing up the transition about Tuesday. We've already moved the heavy machinery but still have the smaller stuff to ferry over plus setting up and organizing to do.

It's not like your box takes up a lot of room.... Bring it with you and stop by our new place for a look-see and for us to check out your layout.

Well, we may not be swinging out to Amherst (it being a longish drive from Boston) after all, as some discerning person has cleverly decided to get the instrument we were pondering.

On the other hand, if Amherst is more convenient for more people, a longish drive isn't so bad.

Ok, the plan is that we'll be at the Button Box (current location) at 2pm on Tueday, August 10th, and then some time after that head over to the new location.

I'm afraid I won't be able to come after all- I forgot that it was the date of the Ladies' Aid Luncheon and they need this young'un to help out!
