Hey Misha, are you going to use this tune for steppe dancing? How about some videos? :D

Back to Swedish music this week. Today I uploaded another gånglåt. This one is from the repertoire of the famous Dalarna fiddler Hjort Anders.

This week I've posted the Tingsmarsch from Leksand. One of the first Swedish tunes I ever worked out for English concertina.

OK, Here's what I've been doing instead of concertina videos the last couple of months...

So WARNING... no concertinas in these videos. Instead, I've been doing some demonstrations of various unusual instruments from my rather extensive collection.

Bird whistles: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=wJQvdz2KseY

Water whistles: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=haOUYULoHXU

Rain sticks: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=pRMs-90yIZo

Do please let me know if you like them or find them worthwhile. They take quite a bit more effort than the musical performances since they require a cameraman and editing.

Hello all. After a long stretch of mountain dulcimer postings, I've posted a new video with concertina.

It's my favorite Christmas carol, so Merry Christmas to one and all:

"Troll Road," "Troll Road," "Troll Road"! Let's say it again, just because it's so much fun to say it: "Troll Road"!!!!

I mean, the CD title is as nifty as the playing and the musical choices!
