Hello, Pancho has launched by now three cds alone with his name, the 1st one and the 3rd one was recorded almost only by himself, he is a wonderful multiinstrumentalist that plays guitar, fiddle, bouzouki, hurdy gurdy, harp, and a lot of things more, in the 2nd one we recorded in several tunes, my brother in five or six, the wooden flute, and me only in three, button accordion and concertina (only in one track I think) and it was launched eight years ago.
The ensemble that appears in youtube is mainly for live concerts, as Pancho can't do he all!
Pancho is a basic member of the band of the most famous galician Piper, Carlos Nuñez, and he is very busy always with him playing in gigs, etc.

Hello, Pancho Alvarez has launched a new disc, "Sonche Atlántico", "I am atlantic". It is an identity affirmation, as many people when think about Spain only think about Mediterranean sea and the sun, and Galicia was and is always linked to the Atlantic Ocean, a country of sailors and emigrants to the other part of the Atlantic Ocean and the whole world.
We are playing again with him, we made the presentation at Santiago de Compostela, and perhaps we made a small gig here in Galicia.
