[COLOR=blue] Hi,
I want to buy Anglo concertina D/G and I'm thinking of buying a new one but only because I don't have a close contact with people who have second hand instruments to sell. I'm from Poland so it's quite impossible for me to travel to different countries a lot. There are only 5 people in Poland who play this instrument (including me :) so it is hard to get any advice from them. I play in a band which performs shanties music, sea songs and folk. The problem is that I am not really sure what to focus on when buying a second hand concertine or even a new one. I want to have one which doesn't sound like accordion.
I count on your help in giving advice or suggestions.

with kindest regards

David is right, those are good site to start with. I don't know if you realised that there are several different types of concertinas, but those sites will make the differences clear.

What sort of budget do you have (in dollars or pounds) ?

Oh, and be very careful of buying anything off eBay.
