In lovely condition and plays beautifully. I’m the 3nd owner since 1930, Helen Kennedy (wife of Douglas, president of the English Folk Dance and Song Soc)being the 1st and her son Peter (collector for the BBC archives, Folktracks)who didn't play, being the 2nd. Helen played in a band called the Waggoners in the 1950s (I think)

I've attached some YouTube videos to give some idea........the sound is not captured well due to the poor-ish in-camera mic, but you'll get some idea.

I find if you stay away from the notes that bats like , it plays well on it's own and I've tried to reflect that in tunes I've chosen. If you stick to the key of "C", it's really, realy loud.

Open to offers prior to eBay (donation to C.net)Please PM me only.

If you will not have me you may let me go

1st tune in "C", 2nd tune in "G".

Well, I'm sure I can''t afford it. But, I'd certainly like to have some vague idea of the amount you want. Any way to get that??

I suspect this from Robin's post would apply: "Please PM me only."

I wasn't going to bother the seller with what would surely be idle curiosity, but if anyone finds out and wants to PM me, I'd be grateful. It's expanding my knowledge of the concertina world, not nosiness. Or maybe it's curiosity, idle or otherwise.

Never mind! I went to his member page, where he sets his price. It shows, as I suspected, that my curiosity was very idle.
