I have two portable harmoniums / folding pump / reed organs that I'd like to sell. Both have been gone through by Jens Witter of Antique Piano here in Tucson. Jens is from Austria and a well respected restorer. His website is here. I think both of them have either 1' and 2' or 2' and 4' stops, adjustable by a knee lever. The other knee lever operates the swell damper. Both fold up into a box for transport and storage.

Estey Folding Organ, Battleboro, Vt. S/N 502624.. Oak Case, original hardware. In very good condition, Keys intact, bellows resealed, new rebound felt. It is the larger and heavier of the two at approximately 31" X 20" X 13" and 61 lbs. $650

Yamaha (alleged). Plywood case, newer handle. In good condition, Keys intact, bellows checked, new rebound felt. Needs a bit of tuning in the upper register, but have reed adjustment tool for that purpose. Approximately 31" X 17" X 11" and 44 lbs. $350

Pricing these is always difficult becasue, unlike concertinas, it's fairly easy to get upside down in them very quickly. That's certainly where I am. The prices are what I paid for them before having them put back in good playing condition. Perhaps, after a couple of Bells and a pint, I might share with you what I spent on that.

You'll need to arrange your own shipping and insurance.

Thank you, Jim. I thought it would work. I've changed the photo site to Photobucket..

For the gentleman from Canada that called, both are tuned to A440. Now I'll admit that every note is not spot on but the max spread is a about 3 cps with all the reeds engaged.

Maybe I should have studied acoustics ....
