Sorry to hear the news and hope you bounce back.
I asked on another post about Anglo instruction fro ITM in UK and drew a blank so Skype may be the answer. I'll PM you. At the moment it is a complete mystery to me but would be useful to get my head round.

He has been teaching the concertina for years and has made a commitment to making his living solely by playing, performing, and teaching music.
There aren't many clips of Chris playing the concertina (he also plays the button accordion).
Here is one with him playing some Scottish tunes on the concertina.
His playing is deceptively simple, which for me is one mark of a great musician.
Please let us know what you think of your lesson with Chris.

Chris is a great player. Certainly one of the best players in America. He is also very kind, non-judgmental and supportive.

Well damn, now I'm nervous!
I'll let you all know how it goes.

Don't think of it as an evaluation of your accomplishment. And don't say "sorry" if you miss a note. You're there to learn.
Chris is very supportive and very kind. And as I said, he is totally non-judgmental... or he'd never have played with me.
Have fun.

You don't have any reason to be nervous. As the teacher he is the one who has something to prove.

Just finished the lesson. It *was* fun, and I learned a lot. We took "The Concertina Reel" which I had been working on previously and he taught me some ornaments to throw in there, and some alternate notes and voila! Also learned a bunch about how the reel should feel. I was tending to dot my notes. Now I'm going to try to straighten them out and use bellows pressure to give it the lift I was trying to get through swing. Good stuff. Thanks for the encouragement!
edited to say- oh and thanks to Chris Stevens! I'll be back.
