I tried several times to use the "User Search" function that is located at the top of the window on the initial concertina.net entry screen. Every time I clicked it, it opened a search window that contained an input box, but also a line of text below it that said: "Sorry, but you must be registered and signed in before you can search for other Concertina.net members."
I was already signed in, I could see my name displayed on some screens and was able to directly access my messages, so I'm not sure what the problem was. I clicked on the sign-in option and it showed me signed in, and when I clicked on the register option it told me I was aready registered. Not sure what I should have done at that point.
Fortunately I ran across a posting from the person I was trying to locate so clicked on their name to get to their contact info and so on, so no longer need to do a search and at this point I'm just posting this to report the issue. I haven't tried using the "User Search" option in the last few years so don't know if it is supposed to still work or not.
Does "User Search" Still Work?

Best to probably just use the user search here in the forums... it's much more up-to-date. Just use the box at the top right and click the "forums" text to activate the drop-down and select "members".

A feature I hadn't realized existed. I'd seen the box but only considered it a tool to search past postings. Looking today I see I also could have also selected the "Members" tab near the top (to the left of center) and had direct access to the collective list there too with alphabetical access. Good things to know.Best to probably just use the user search here in the forums... it's much more up-to-date.
