It's simply not possible for one person to know about all the recordings -- or even to find them on the internet, -- so I'm asking for your help. If you would be so kind as to email me lists of any recent recordings you know about -- they don't have to be available through large dealers; if the public can buy them at concerts, that's good enough, -- it would be a big help. Don't leave anything out because you think we already have it (even if it's been discussed recently on Concertina.net). Maybe we do, and maybe we don't, but it's easier to remove duplicates than to guess what's missing.
All we're asking for at this point is, for each recording:
... Name of group or performer(s)
... Title of recording
... Type of recording (CD, video, or?)
... Name(s) of concertina player(s) and the system(s) they play on the recording
... Year of issue (if you're not sure whether a recording was issued after 2002, including it with ???? for the year, and we'll try to track down the details or maybe just include it, anyway)
Please send any contributions to this special email address: picalist@nonce.dk
......... Thanks for your help.
P.S. It's my understanding that the PICA contents will be openly available on line.
