Paul Keating wrote in to tell us that:

I am organizing the Catskills Irish Arts Week this summer in East Durham and we do have two concertina teachers this summer with Michael Rooney and Fr. Charlie Coen doing the honors.   Michael Rooney will work with intermediate and advanced players weekday mornings from 10 am to 11:30 am while Fr. Charlie will work with basic player below that both in the morning and the afternoon (1:30 to 3 p.m.)

Michael is an accomplished concertina player though he may be more well known for his harp playing. He hails from County Monaghan and we are fortunate to have him and his wife to be June McCormack (Sligo flute player) joining our 2004 Staff this summer.

Appreciate any help you can lend to spread the word.

The Summer Schools List has been updated with this info.
