Concertina sessions @ Gosport & Fareham Easter Festival

Recommended Posts

Dear Everyone,

Spare Parts (Bryan Creer, Suzanne Higgins and I) will be running concertina part-playing sessions again at the Gosport and Fareham Easter Festival http://www.gosportfestival.co.uk/ this year. The sessions are free - you don't need to show a festival season ticket to get in, although there are a lot of splendid-looking events that might well interest you anyway. All concertina systems are welcome, and so are recording devices.

You'll be able to download our three-part arrangements of the tunes from our website http://www.sparepartsband.co.uk/ in midis and .pdfs in the next day or so, but if your excitement is so great that you can't wait that long I can send them to you by email or post on request.

Bryan's put them on the site now, and they will stay there until he puts up the selection for our next festival (Chippenham, in the third week-end of May).

My family have lived in Fareham for hundreds of years (I have wandering tendencies however) so, once I can play this to a reasonable standard, I will come along to this do.
