JimLucas
Scandinavian Squeeze-In 2008 April 25-27 I've already been in contact with Louise. I'm on the list Of course I knew that. But perhaps I should emphasize that this event isn't just for those who live in Scandinavia. In the past, we've had participants from Sweden, Denmark, and Norway, but many have also come from England, and others from Germany, the Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Scotland, Switzerland, and (once, so far) the USofA. We're still hoping for representatives from Finland, France, Belgium, Bornholm (that' an in-joke), Argentina, Australia, Ireland, Japan, Canada, New Zealand, and any other country I haven't yet named. Susanne
I may be able to be there but not sure yet. I hope you'll have my concertina ready then or at least some news about how it is doing!!! Yours is doing fine, I played Svältpolskan the other day. How is it possible to get there from Copenhagen airport?
JimLucas
I may be able to be there but not sure yet. ... How is it possible to get there from Copenhagen airport? Train direct from the airport to Lund, and we'll arrange a lift from there. The train service seems to be every 20 minutes during most of the day. The trip planner for Skåne can be found här (svenska), here (English), hier (Deutsch), och/and/und/og her (dansk). On that web page, enter Kastrup for Från/From/Von/Fra and Lund for Till/To/Nach/Til, and click on the red Sök/Search/Suchen/Find rejse button. You'll then be told that there are several alternatives for each, but if it's showing København Lufth/Kastrup and Lund C (which it should be), you won't have to select from the drop-down menus, but just click again on Sök/Search/Suchen/Find rejse, and it will display your results. (I notice it's not quoting a price. I'll try to look that up for you.) About concertinas: Will send PM. Hope to see you there.

Susanne
I'm sad to say I won't be able to be there this year because I'm just about to start a new job on the 24th, and I don't have the work schedule yet, in addition my friend is coming over from Sweden on the Sunday... Too bad. I'm waiting for your PM.

Mark Evans
I for one would love to attend if the tanking US dollar were not an impediment. Each year I look forward to seeing the photos of the event posted here. Musicians gathering as equals to enjoy one another's company, food, drink and the passing of a little insight on our shared passion for the concertina.
