Valmai Goodyear
At the Chippenham Festival (http://www.chippfolk.co.uk/)there are three 'English Concertina From Scratch' sessions on the timetable in the Bear Hotel at 12-2.00 on Saturday (event 242) Sunday (event 442) and Monday (event 638). They are marked with a Y rather than a price on the skeleton programme(http://www.chippfolk.co.uk/glance/pdf/chippfolk2011-skeleton-programme.pdf)on the Festival website. This sounds a good idea. Does anyone know who the tutor is?
Valmai Goodyear
Apologies for appearing to talk to myself, but I've now found out that the sessions are for young beginners and will be taught by Jill Shepherd. malcolmbebb
Apologies for appearing to talk to myself, but I've now found out that the sessions are for young beginners and will be taught by Jill Shepherd. I believe this is in conjunction with Ed Rennie and the Devon Squeezebox foundation. Ed does melodeons at one end and Jill concertinas down t'other. Aimed at kids and well spoken of. They do a basic 'try it out' session at Dartmoor and I've heard maybe also Sidmouth this year, although not sure on that.
