Although all 50 tunes are presented in the harmonic style, 1 can be played on a 20-button straightaway, 1 can be played on a 20-button with minor adjustment, and 33 can be played melody-only on a 20-button (and probably with a fair amount of harmonies with some button substitutions here and there). And for 30-button instruments with Jeffries accidentals, likewise a few adjustments here and there will be needed. But as many of you know, substitutions are often par for the course, and leaving out notes or adding others is often required to make it sound the way you want to on your instrument, so take the arrangements in the book as a guide or starting point, certainly not gospel! For those not familiar with the book, every tune has a little graphic showing which buttons are used for that particular arrangement, and also included is a QR code that links to a video on YouTube where it is played twice through - easy to see and hear how they sound and also to help you decide which ones you want to learn. The videos are also on the Christmas Concertina playlist at www.youtube.com/angloconc. There are some freebies from the book posted elsewhere here on cnet, and the Amazon "Look Inside" feature also shows some of the pages.
