Z, do you know more about these instruments, or is contacting the auctioneer the only way to get more information? The ledger says #30422 is 32 buttons, not 30, and I'm curious as to whether the miniature is Engish (most likely), anglo, or duet. And it, too, should have a serial no. If the serial no. is correct, the Wheatstone ledger has it listed as model 60, which is (in the 1934 price list Steve C. posted recently) a 32 button instrument, and the ledger also explicityly says "32 keys". But the ledger says nothing about "tenor", while the price list (admittedly 10 years after the serial no.) is quoted as saying, "TENORS, BARITONES and BASSES Made to Order in No. 59 quality only." I.e., not model 60. Furthermore, when these appear in the ledgers, it is generally without a model number (i.e., not "No. 59", but "No. 59 quality"). At 6-7/8" (again from the ledger), it is a bit larger than standard, so maybe that's why they think it's "tenor", and not because of the range? I wonder what the truth is. Lot 75 is the miniature, number 32959 Which the ledger says is a duet. Interesting. There are another 400 lots I didn't look through. Well, those are all the concertinas.
