  1. I'm starting to learn cords and I've discovered that if I play the melody with my right hand and the cords with my left hand the cords totally overpower the melody, even if I only use two buttons. Even normal playing the left side sound louder. (I've got a Stagi 30 button) Has anyone had any luck reducing the volume of one side by adding a layer of fabric or something on one side to even out the volume?
  2. FYI -- Next Saturday there is going to be a Workshop at Hobgoblin Music in Minnesota. Don't know if it will be any good, but I'm going to attend. Thought others might be interested. Attached is the PDF of the brochure. Concertina_20workshop_202006.pdf
  3. I purchased a Stagi W015-MS about 5 months ago and have been practicing. I've gotten to the point that the dog doesn't leave the room when I take out the concertina. This means that either I've improved or the dogs gone deaf. Anyway, I've been frustrated with the graphic of the button layout that came with the concertina. It is about a 99th generation Xerox. So this week end armed with the Song Writer program and Photo Shop I created and checked (I think) and updated and easer to read version. If anyone wants to use it feel free. If you find any errors let me know. Stagi_w_15_MS_Anglo_Concertina.pdf
