hjcjones
As no one else seems to have posted this - taken from John's website www.johnkirkpatrick.co.uk John's wife, Sally, who comes around with him on gigs and acts as his support team, co-driver, and merchandise sales person, was rushed into hospital on November 14th, and had to have major abdominal surgery. After complications following a second operation, Sally died in her sleep in the early hours of November 26th. John has cancelled his gigs and hopes to resume work in the new year. Very sad news. Tradewinds Ted
Sad news indeed. I had heard she was ill because John cancelled on upcoming gig at the folk club we participate in, but didn't know she did not recover. My heart goes out to him.
