Greg Jowaisas
Paul, What a great sight you have! (and wonderful participants!) I'm a musician who stumbled onto an auction that had two Wheatstone anglos (yes, these things still occasionally happen). That was two months ago. Since then I've been to a Noel Hill workshop, and discovered a world of information about this great instrument and musical community. 'concertina.net' has been my #1 resource! Now its time to pay the piper: Where do I send my contribution? A hearty thankyou. Greg J
Greg Jowaisas
My observant wife answered my question regarding how and where to send concertina.net a contribution. There is a Pay Pal link on the Buy and Sell forum page. Folks, this is a tremendous resource that Paul provides and to which all of you contribute. Although an anglo concertina newbie, I've spent better than 30 years learning folk instruments (and unlearning self inflicted mistakes). I have come to appreciate the opportunity to apprentice with an experienced master or take advantage of an informed source. concertina.net has certainly given me a chance to shorten the learning curve. Thanks again for all the info and remember to support this site. (Paul DID NOT pay me to say any of this!) Greg J
Paul Schwartz
Thanks again Greg! Very kind of you indeed. Seeing people get pleasure from the instrument and the music they make with it is always support enough. And that's what I want from the forums and the site... I just want them to further that aim, and not just degenerate into too internal much navel-gazing

I seem to recall that I did eventually find that link and sent a small donation. What I personally have found even more fun, though, is to buy stuff from Paul's C-Net store at Cafepress.com. I LOVE the large stainless steel travel mugs for coffee!! Not just because they say Concertina.net on them, but coffee (or anything) always tastes best in that cup. Hey, and, they're magnetic, so if yer in the mood for stickin' fridgie magnets all over your cup, you can do so!!! Ha ha. Can't say that I've ever tried that, though. EDITED: Okay, I just looked. Here's the link: http://www.cafepress.com/concertina/ But....I don't see the stainless steel travel mug, anymore. Oh well. There seems to be a lot of other great stuff! And maybe it's there and I just didn't see it.... Edited March 23, 2005 by bellowbelle
