Peter Brook
I'll be at Whitby folk week from the 21st of August. My first visit since 1986! Looking forward to joining in the workshops and seeing Alistair Anderson, John Kirkpatrick and Iris Bishop to name but three. Be great to see any other c.net bods there. Anyone know of off programme sessions that are good? all the best, Peter

Pete Dickey
Hi Peter I like Whitby and whilst it is not too far away from me, it is quite a long time since I attended the folk week. I would certainly like to go and have a pot or two with you, but having just spent a week in Germany sampling excellent Moselle wines and going to Bradfield this weekend, I think the wife would have my guts for garters if I headed for the east coast on the 21st. I'm sure you will enjoy the event with or without any Cnetters. Pete
Theo
I'll be there, but playing an ancient Hohner Erika with a "k" Club melodeon, not a concertina. Theo
d.elliott
I will be there! check your programme for the concertina maintenance workshops sessions: middle earth, Elsenor, angel, plough to name but 5% of the pubs in Whitby Dave
Peter Brook
Thanks Dave. I will certainly be attending your workshop so I can understand better how this thing works and how I should be treating it! Thank you for the pointers re: sessions. Look forward to seeing you in whitby. all the best, Peter
d.elliott
I will be pleased to meet you, (again? I think we may have met before). Anyway, we can all learn together and when you finally understand you can let me know! TTFN Dave
ucyljad
Could anyone tell me if there are any daytime workshops? I'll be in the area (Hull during the first weekend and Durham over the next week) so would be interested, especially if Iris Bishop is playing.
