Anglo Day At Warwick Folk Festival

Recommended Posts

As part of the interest generated by "Anglo International" collection Warwick Folk Festival have decided to have an Anglo Concertina day on Saturday 22nd July 06.This will provide workshops for Anglo playing during the day and a big concert in the evening in similar format to the CDs ,featuring major artists.

Graham Bradshaw is helping to put this together with the Warwick Festival organisers and more details of artists booked will be posted on this site.

Please make a note in your new diaries,it should be a good day.

Other festivals are considering holding similar events and I will let you know if they do.

This is something I never even considered and is all very exciting.

... travelling all year through the continents, living in hotel rooms, groupies.....

As one of the players likely to be involved with the anglo event at Warwick, I am looking forward with interest to discovering what concertina groupies are like.

...living in hotel rooms, groupies, etc. etc.

Living in groupies? Sounds like a parasitic lifestyle to me. :o

Mostly blowhards, but always willing to give you a friendly squeeze. ;)

Correct David its the "Pushy and Pully" one (I think you just beat Jim to that one).

This does form part of the World tour Henk which started in Lewes Sussex, now Warwick !

As far as the groupies are concerned they can be so difficult and aggresive, but in my other dream!

Al
