Valmai Goodyear
Spare Parts (just Bryan Creer and me on this occasion) are running our usual part-playing session for all concertina systems at the Tenterden Folk Festival, Kent, UK, on Sunday 4th. October (http://www.tenterdenfolkfestival.org.uk/). Our session is from 3.00 pm - 4.30 pm in the White Lion Saddlery. You'll find the three-part arrangement of the tunes we'll be using as Noteworthy Composer, PDF and MIDI files on the band website (http://www.sparepartsband.co.uk/SPTunes.php) thanks to Bryan. The MIDI files have normal and slow versions. Each tune is played five times. The tunes are Centenary March, Trip to the Bath and Lakes of Sligo. We're also running a general song and tunes session in the White Lion bar that lunchtime. I understand Brian Peters is running a melodeon workshop from 5.30 - 7.00 pm on the Saturday afternoon.
