1910 newspaper story. See 3rd column. Any idea who “Mr. B” might have been?

I don't know either, but four years after an 'Essay in Patriotism' all hell breaks lose because of patriotism.   I suspect that most of the young men in those pictures died in WWI.  

 

And the Ladies go Dancing at Whitsun.

Mr B may have been a typo. Mr H (Hemmings) is much more likely as the description is obviously of the Abingdon Morris, though un-named.
