Yes, a Lachenal would have had the reed trade mark on the palm rest, and possibly steel reeds stamped on it too.

 

And the buttons are fatter than Lachenal's (which I would like) and seem to be a tighter fit, which hints at the George Jones influence.

I see the seller has withdrawn it.

I see he's in Stoke on Trent. Maybe he sold it to Chris Algar.

If my memory serves, early Lachenals didn't have reed trademark on the palm rest. Can anyone give me the exact year of the first trade mark ?
