Chris Drinkwater Posted July 20, 2009 Share Posted July 20, 2009 Hi All Rosie's family and I are holding an hour-long memorial tribute to her during the afternoon of sunday 2nd August in Sidmouth at the start of Sidmouth Folk week. It will also see the launch of a CD, featuring Rosie singing unacompanied and playing some of her favourite tunes on melodeon and concertina which I have put together from a selection of various recording I have of her singing and playing. We are hoping to be able to have the use of a room in The Bedford Hotel for about an hour. Sidmouth Folk Week was Rosie's favourite folk festival, so it is entirely fitting that this tribute should take place there. Anyone from C.net attending Sidmouth is welcome to come, especially people who were unable to come to her funeral and wake earlier in the year.
