Any Info On This Lachenal 20B C/g Anglo From New Zealand?

I have had this box for about 16 years....bought it on ebay from New Zealand. It was playing but in rough shape and in old pitch. It has since been restored.

It is serial # 84276 AND has the unusual mark scratched into the wood near the right hand strap (see photo)

Just throwing it out there to see if anyone recognizes this box or might have some info on the history of this instrument. Anyone know who or what is JDP. Maybe it was some kind of club, a band, or even a rental number.
