Apologies.I didn't even realise I had started a new topic.I thought I was just previewing an entry I was intending to make.I abandoned the idea I thought.I'll get round to putting a few more pictures on in due course.

 

Chris,I have spent the last two days reading and trying to understand the instructions for the Sony Minidisc I purchased after reading your recommendation.I'm making progress and have already copied 45 of my concertina CD's on to one mini disc and am at this minute listening to Noel Hill playing at the Concertina Concert at the 2004 Willie Clancy Summer School.I have donated my old mini disc player to Dave Prebble who no doubt will have mastered it by now.My next plan is to copy all my CD's to mini disc.

At the price they wre going at on Amazon they were a superb bargain. Shame they aren't still doing it. I must confess I haven't copied anything onto it yet - I probably won't, as it happens. What I value is the amazing recording capacity it offers. Close on 8 hours of very near hi-fi quality recording on one disk. You can start it recording at the beginning of a session and forget about it till the end. I took it to Sweden with me. Behaved immaculately.
