Anglo Workshops In Suffolk In March

Recommended Posts

I've had an email from Katie Howson of the East Anglian Traditional Music Trust about an event for anglo players and melodionists they are setting up. Here's what she says:-

We have a day of workshops etc for melodeon and anglo players again this year on Saturday 19th March in Mendlesham, Suffolk. Classes for inexperienced anglo-players with Colin Cater and experienced with Andy Turner. Lots of other options to join with the melodeon players as well to work on waltzes, schottisches, tunes from Australia. Details on the East Anglian Traditional Music Trust's website at www.eatmt.org.uk

I believe this is the second such event they've organised, and although I haven't been to this one I've gone to other events of theirs and I've known Colin Cater as a fine player of English music for donkey's years. It should be well worthwhile.
