The International Concertina Association maintains a list of teachers. Unfortunately I'm in Lincolnshire, near Grantham, which is too far for you. You could also look at this site:

https://themorrisring.org/find-side-near-you

It's a Morris dancing site, and many Morris sides have concertina players who may be able to share their knowledge with you. Oxfordshire is of course a hotbed of Morris activity, home of Headington Quarry Morris Dancers, the three Bampton sides and several others. William Kimber, the great Anglo player who was "discovered" by Sharp was from Headington.

The Chiltinas (http://www.chiltinas.org.uk/) self-help concertina group meets just south of Bedford, and pulls in people from Herts and Bucks and as far west as Oxford.

We have several Anglo players, including beginners. Unfortunately you've just missed this month's meeting - next is Sunday 11 March. Contacts are at http://www.chiltinas.org.uk/contact/.

Or, with hindsight, are you the guy from Oxford who did come on Sunday, whose name I didn't catch?

Regards
